I'm a newby to Crossfit, started about a month ago. Had my annual physical this week with blood test and my doctor took me off blood pressure and cholesterol medicine. First time off in 15 years. Guess Crossfit and the Zone Diet really work!

Congrats Mark! Great to hear of your success. I've been crossfitting about 6 months and had a similar visit with my MD a while back. I want to stand up and shout, "YESSSS!!!" everytime I hear of someone who has found the courage and will to do what many people say can't be done. I don't understand why folks aren't flocking to Crossfit by the tens of millions. I really don't.

What they didn't tell me about Crossfit is that it would ruin all my clothes. Nothing fits anymore except shoes and hats. Nothing. Ugh, I hate spending money on clothes. And my stupid waist is a whole entire inch bigger than it was a couple decades ago in high school. What's up with that?!

175. I thought it was a PR but went back through my book and found it was not. It was a tie for PR. Still happy with it. Good to not lose ground! And I found out I LOVE weightlifting shoes!!

Hmmmm....may have to try for a new Crossfit Total. 600 is in sight!
