Blake making those over the bar burpees look easy!!

On a side note, GOD IS GOOD, ALL THE TIME!!
The Engine truck I am on responded as backup to a large house fire at the intersection of Elm Ridge and American Avenue in the subdivision Jada Leo lives in. My firefighter and myself made entry into the house and I extinguished a fire in one of the rooms. As I took about four more steps, I fell through the floor(almost chest level)and was engulfed in flames.I was able to catch myself in a dip position. Fire was shooting up all around me and all I could see under me was fire! My firefighter could not see me to help. I was able to dip press myself out of the hole and escape. I thank my Lord first and foremost!! But I also want to thank the Coaches at Crossfit Huntsville and all of you guys and gals who have encouraged and pushed me all of these years. I weigh 230# plus the gear weighs about 75#. The Good Lord and all of the training helped me out of a bad, bad, situation this morning. Glory to GOD!

Steve-Wow, what a calamity! Easy to see how without a few vital pieces and vital celestial "top cover" the story could have had a much different ending. I stand amazed how firefighters ,our law enforcement brothers , and our comrades in arms on some piece of some crappy foreign real estate or blue water can go from zero to max beep in about .2 nanoseconds without giving it a second thought. Job Well Done my good friend and Godspeed!jt
