Crosfitters are reputed to be great about rallying around their own in times of need, I've heard. In that spirit, right about now would be a great time to remind me I'm truly far too youthful, energetic, vigorous, and handsome to be a grandfather...sigh... :)

14:07 scaled to 85# (105# was Rx'd for women).
The Cleans killed me. I did all the DLs and the PJs unbroken, but the Cleans...ugh.
And yes, we did it in the parking lot. I think Jake likes throwing things like that at the 0600 class just to see how we respond! LOL

This was pretty horrible outside, i sweat way too much, everytime i chalked up my hands and got to the bar it was gooey mush in my hands already

The last time we did this in April 2010, I'm not sure if rx'ed for women was 110# or 105#. (Anybody have it written in their journal, the rx'ed weight we did?) So I'm not sure if this is a legit PR or not...

Regardless, it's a pretty big PR from the last time.

After 9 or 10 days of unapologetic gluttony and laziness, DT took all the starch outta me, even scaled down to 95#. 15:40. It seems customary to say, "feels good to be back in the gym," or some such. But I don't feel that way at the moment. :)

14:17 @105#. I underestimated how much I could push jerk based on my shoulder press makeup workout on Saturday. I got 5X110 doing just shoulder press, so I thought, no way I'll get that weight doing the "DT" combo we did today. It's amazing the difference the hip power makes. I coulda (woulda shoulda) done 120#!!
