As rx'ed-14:04 Didn't really push straight through the Kb snatches until the 9's. Coulda made some time up, had I done that for each set.

Good WOD!

Forearms were trashed. Nice to be back in the gym after a week in DC and a week in Disney.

I think I know why you didn't just push through the KB snatches straight though... it's because this workout was hard as crap.

As Rx'ed
5:30.

Wore gloves for the first time since I can remember. I have bad memories of tearing every bit of palm-skin from my hand at regionals doing KB snatches and didn't want to re-live that. Grip was the limiting factor here. Tore the gloves off at round 9 and went bare hands because I needed more grip strength but I'm glad I wore them for the first two rounds or my hands would be hamburger.

11:15 at 20kg. Grip strength failure really slowed things down.

Just want to say how proud I am of Kevin for his first place win in TN, Dennis for his fourth place win (I think?), and russell's Again Faster win!!! If I left anyone out, I apologize :)

I'm glad to be a part of such a great gym!

11:01 - scaled to 20Kg

All KB swings were unbroken, the slow part was trying to actually get that many pull-ups.

Thank You Katherine. I would like to echo your remarks about being a part of a Great gym. I feel very lucky, glad, stoked and pleased that I found CFHSV and all the great athletes, friends, coaches, trainers, and firebreathers. Marvelous, simply marvelous. It is always a big worry when the Army moves you to a new place and the first thing you wonder is how and where you will be able to get your CF fix. I cannot think of a better place the Army could of sent me.

Train Hard, Train Smart, Train to Survive and do it at CFHSV!

This still should have been faster. One day I will walk away from a workout thinking that I couldn't have gone any faster....maybe?

Pull-ups STARTING to come along!!! Scaled the PU reps to 12-9-6 since this was my first WOD doing them with no band assistance the entire way through. Took me a minute 40 to get the last pull up and it was not quite over the bar but I was spent...time was either 8:48 or 8:58...will have to look at the board.

Sorry y'all, gorgeous Fall Day (and federal holiday as well) deserved long trail as the WOD. So ~45km on the Fiery Gizzard Trail on the Cumberland Plateau. Finished it off with a swim at the bottom of Foster Falls' wading pool.

ripped BAD with 4 pull-ups left...have no idea what time I was at. Since I was bleeding like a murder victim I stopped :) First time I have ripped like that in months. Oh well...it will buff out.

Thanks to Tracy Roberts for pushing me today!!!
