U.S. Army First Lieutenant Omar Vazquez, 25, of Hamilton, New Jersey, assigned to the 2nd Squadron, 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment, based in Fort Hood, Texas, died of wounds suffered April 22, 2011, when insurgents in Numaniyah, Iraq, attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device. He is survived by his parents Maria and Pablo, sister Marisel, and brothers Pablo and Javier.

A big loss for Texas and a huge gain for HSV. Really wonderful people and solid athletes in every meaning of the word.....Combined- I think they are on the leader board about 97 times.
The only thing missing from the picture are those two girls....they’re somewhere close.

That’s a great shot of a great couple. Mac and Haley made CFHSV their home years ago and couldn’t imagine it without them. They’re awesome well rounded athletes that have shown the consistency that we strive for in health and fitness at CFHSV. They’re also good to the core and help make the gym what it is. Keep rockin love birds!

Love this picture. Mac and Haley are great representatives of all the good that can happen through CrossFit...fun, fitness, health, empowerment, humility and family. Two stud athletes who work hard to keep a steady balance in life inside and outside the gym. Proud to have them at CFHSV!
