Enjoyed my first CrossFit workout today. Although I have a good bit to learn I felt good about my first Totals.

255/135/345 = 735

not pr on anything. Deadlift form was terrible. I'm weaker than I was last time I totaled.

SP - 140 tie PR
DL - 365 tie PR
CFT - 760 5 lb PR

Disappointed with how things went this morning. I've been drastically improving in most everything over the last month metcon wise, but my strenght has completely stalled from October, minus a 5 lb increase on my SP.

Didn't you just read the "P Word" article yesterday?

I'd see an increase in met-cons across the board and a 5lb PR on the total as a WIN.

Tye,
Didn't you pull a 15# PR on the weighted pull up last week? 130# is an impressive pull up. I'd call that an increase in strength.

You both are right, I guess I just expect more out of myself in relation to the squat and deadlift.

Strength is a weakness for me in pretty much every movement, with the exception of weighted pullups. I've just got to decide to do something about it, and I know my form is the first thing I have to correct. It's all just a matter of how bad I want to improve.

Elizabeth yesterday didn't help you at all. That many squat cleans are not conducive to getting prs the next day.

Truly awe inspiring squat! That is the longest I've ever seen a CFHSV athlete push into the bar at their sticking point without dumping. Strong Work!
The Deadlift... Go Heavier. Your stronger than you think.
