If anybody is in need of a cat, there was a kitten at the brewery door this morning. There was a bowl of water at the door, so I assume the folks over there know about the kitten, but it was screaming its head off, so I gave it some pulled pork which it ate very quickly. Hopefully somebody out there could take him/her and offer a good home if it was dropped off.

75 was my previous one rep max, so this was a pretty good PR for me. I ALMOST had 85 once, but no go this time around. next time!!
And special thanks to Ron for helping with the spider situation this morning!

BAHAHAHA.

I remember a similar scenario about a month ago in the locker room when we saw a bug crawl by and Mandee and I screamed; followed by my cry of desperation, "MANDEE WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO?!?!", and she replied, "Well...Carson's here."

LOL It's not often I get to come to the rescue!
This morning was a whole other ball game though...I don't think I could smush anything that size in flip-flops! Tennis shoes are definitely needed for things like today!

The plan was to do a metcon today, but my allergies decided against it. Worked up to a 1rm back squat instead.

Got 275 w/ 50# of chains and 325# w/o chains (10# PR)

My 1RM on shoulder press has been stuck @ 95lbs for six months or more, and today I was able to do a few reps at 100 and one rep at 105. So that's a 10lb PR, although my 5 rep max was still 95.

Great work Ben

170lb x 5 / more auxiliary work when possible Jake. That was great....it gets us stronger.
