Front Line Report from the Pizzeria Trenches. Bottom Line, Famous Joe’s Pizzeria is a must go to pizzeria in the battle to find real and real good pizza.

Tuesday night was a special family occasion and the day before a rest day, so I ventured out to splurge on pizza.

Well there was no better choice than to try CFHSV’s very own Joe’s Famous Pizzeria. Holy Moly it was Phenomenal Pizza. I am not sugar coating this, it was awesome and traditional. Most of you know I just got back from Naples Italy a couple of weeks ago and I ate at some quality restaurants while there. Nonetheless, Joe’s pizza beat them all. Man he has some choice, quality, totally terrific traditional pizza. He also was kind enough to ensure I have to perform a couple of days of double and triple WODs to burn off a desert delicacy that melts in your mouth with ooey, gooey, chewy deliciousness that he kindly hooked me up with. It did have fruit:)

Thanks Joe, your pizza rocks!

Dessert delicacy It was a chocolate creamcheese calzone with strawberries, oranges, and syrups and powdered sugar. To top it off it was also deep-fried. It literally melted in your mouth hot out of the oven.

It all sounds amazing!!! I can also testify that the garlic bread is out of this world too! And, I know this is skewed but when we went there, it felt like it wasn't AS BAD of a cheat knowing a crossfitter made it...haha...that's messed up. Seriously though, great place!!!

OHS were heavy and slowed me down, but I fought through. Tough workout.

Jumping into the rings was challenging to say the least. Dennis's cousin beat me by 4 or 5 seconds. That's always a fun workout

It seems like having the strap buckles so low would have gotten in the way, or at least left a mark or two ?
