U.S. Army First Lieutenant Omar Vazquez, 25, of Hamilton, New Jersey, assigned to the 2nd Squadron, 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment, based in Fort Hood, Texas, died of wounds suffered April 22, 2011, when insurgents in Numaniyah, Iraq, attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device. He is survived by his parents Maria and Pablo, sister Marisel, and brothers Pablo and Javier.

Sue is taking the pain of fitness like the champ she is. Ain’t nobody like Sue. She’s so fun and hilarious despite the grind and hurt of each WOD. She’s got a great attitude and an infectious laugh and personality. And despite her self deprecating humor she’s a very skilled CrossFitter who can do anything she decides to do. Man I love this picture! Sue is so fun and full of personality, but she is also tough as nails and knows how to embrace the pain of every WOD. She’s a natural athlete who jumped into CrossFit with both feet, and she’s been killing it ever since. Love Sue and her wonderful family and so glad to have them at CFHSV! ?
