20:33 RX'd
Splits were 6:00/7:30/6:33 so I guess it took about 30 seconds to get setup in the rower and to get off and run again. I never would have thought it took that much time but I'm sure the slight rest helped.

Nice article on celebs and their ridiculous diets.(not to say I haven't tried 1 or 10 of them back in the day)
Exposed rib cages and lollipop heads are NOT attractive. They look like you could break them just by touching them

The only celeb body that I think is awesome is Jessica Biel...and from what I have read she crossfits :) She has a nice booty and looks like she could lift some heavy crap!!!

Solid work Tye! This wod is going to be brutal, but it's the price I'm willing to pay after almost 2 weeks off from any kind of training or dieting. On a positive note, I think the time off helped my shoulder, it's feeling about 90-95%

Total time: 26:55

First mile (unbroken) - 8:11
Row 2K (unbroken) - 8:29
Second mile (unbroken) - 9:31

Today was a huge win for me - best I have felt in a WOD in a long time.

To drop off by 1:20 on my second mile is disappointing to say the least and my row...I suck at rowing. (Hmm, rowing workshop anyone?) But I guess it was to be expected after 11 days off, I guess the moral of the story is there is no easy way to get "back into" CF other than jumping back into the deep end head first.

Awesome time for 11 days off Aaron. It took me about 4 days to feel "normal" after I got back from my backpacking trip to MT that lasted 10 days. Glad to hear the shoulder is feeling better too and congrats on the engagement as well.

Hope everybody enjoys their long weekend. I'm off to Illinois to kill some whitetails, see y'all Tuesday.

Thanks Tye, have a safe trip. Can you eat whitetails? On second thought, what is a whitetail?

I'll be joining that suckfest come next week. Haven't been solidly training for at least a week and diet has been hit and miss (cruises don't necessarily promote clean eating!) Not looking forward to the suck but am looking forward to getting back to it!

I'd still pay good money to be able to run that fast! Good times!

The row was definitely my week point. It's been a long time since I've had to row a 2K. Overall I'm pretty happy with my time. Plus it's was a great prep for the 5k next weekend :)

I predicted 24:00 the night prior to this WOD and got 24:02. I guess I'm starting to figure out my capabilities.
