Workout- 4 x 400m runs... with a catch. Run 400m as a group on the dirt course. The order you finish the 400m course is your score. After resting for 2 minutes, you will run the 400 again, but your finish place will be inverted and every athlete will start 10 seconds apart from the last. For example, if after your first run you were 1st place out of a group of five runners in your class, on your next run, you will start the run in last place, 40 seconds into the second run. Upon completion, you will get a new score for the next run. The total of all four of your placings is your score. Post your total score / number of athletes you competed against to comments. GoHeavy Workout- Thruster Ladder - Athletes will have 20 seconds to take a barbell from the ground, then perform one thruster at a specified weight. They will have 10 seconds to transition to the next barbell. Their result is the highest successful thruster. Great programming. Should have gamed it a little better. Ryan, Daniel, and I finished 1,2,3 on the first run and finished 3 of the lowest scores in the class. Middle of the pack is the way to go on this one. The 400m PR is a win for me though.

When I end up with a better score on a run wod than Robert, Daniel and Ryan... you know something is up with the scoring system. :D
Fun wod though. If I had been alone, I would have probably taken a break at the first curve of the second run and every curve thereafter.

Good luck to the Affiliate Team and to all our individual competitors this weekend! Regionals will kick on Friday and many of our athletes are driving or flying tomorrow! Stay safe and kick some butt in Florida!

The inversion thing really flipped me around. I finished first once, near last several times.
I didn't love this one, but any WOD with running is a challenge for me.
