Bad to the bone. I can't say thank you enough to Dennis for talking me into coming to watch the lunch time class throw down on a random day, back when I was doing the globo gym workouts. I'll always remember..."put your pride in your pocket and leave your ego at the door," and "some days you own the bar, some days the bar own you." We'll see you at the games Coach DB. #ttptb

I can remember when I first walked in okies class. I loved how he coached and how he motivated everyone. I loved his classes so much that I would see when he was coaching and make sure I went to his class. I loved his classes so much I went 18 straight days without taking a rest day. And that's the truth. I remember him making me take 2 days off after I told him. You are awesome Dennis. You have truly been an inspiration to me.

I will admit during many Wods I'm not a big fan of Dennis! However, when I finish a challenging wod (especially 'DB' Wods) I know work got done and there's a great level of satisfaction. Then, the dislike fades to become admiration. Thank you DB- you are a game changer!

I still remember several years ago when I stayed after class one Saturday and watched you crush the "Cindy" WOD!!! I think you got 24+ or 26+ rounds. It was amazing to watch! Dennis, you are loved by so many (including me) and hope to get to see you next time you drop in brother!

Dang I miss you, Coach! Glad I got to WOD with you when you were here. DB finished that WOD in 5 min, carefully set his bar down and walked around encouraging everyone else until we finished. Just like old times :)

CFHSV Rocks! You all are so amazing and truly a lifelong family to me (miles cannot separate us). I am humbled everyday as we all work, coach, train and grow not only as CrossFitters, but also as great Americans. Let’s keep up the good fight and keep striving smartly each day to reach our goals and full potential.
A Great BIG Happy Birthday to the Army that I love and goes out on our behalf to help ensure we live in the Land of the Free and the Brave. God Bless the Army and America.
PS: Can’t wait until my next trip back to my CFHSV family!

"The man, the myth, the legend" is a common quip that people use. It describes no one better than DB himself. One of the best dudes around and I'm confident the best one in Oklahoma.

37:58 rx super impressive to everyone who took on this hero wod today.

There were probably better times than 3:15 to do this today. ?
3 rounds at 39:09 and had to just stop. Scaled to 11 wbs each round & had to walk a little because of the heat & hammy.
